Shel SIlverstein fisrt cartoons were published in Pacific Stars and Stripes.
Take Ten was later published in 1955 and contained a compilation of the cartoons he created during his military stint. In 1956 the book was reprinted as Grab Your Socks.
Silverstein was contracted by Playboy Magazine during the 50's and the 60's and created "Shel Silverstein Visit..." which was a compilation of cartoons that he drew during his time with Playboy Magazine.
His most well known book of cartoon drawings is a book that also had a contriversial drawing, the book was tittled Now Here's My Plan.
